Listen to the most recently aired Planet Prog shows by streaming or downloading the shows from the WMSE website. The last few months of 90 minute shows are currently archived in .mp3 format.

  • The 24k quality files are about 13MB each
  • The 56k quality files are about 37MB each
  • The new 128k quality files are about 84MB each
Although there are many MP3 players available, WinAmp is the most popular free and feature rich. Or, go to mp3.com to search for another player to fit your needs. The free Windows Media Player is another alternative.

"Downloading" means saving the .mp3 file to your computer so you can keep it and listen to it again later. "Streaming" means that the .mp3 file is sent as a temporary file to your computer and .mp3 player as soon as you start the "stream" and that it will be played only once.

On the WMSE radio station web site, there is a schedule of all the shows they air live and then archive to be listened to again later. Planet Prog airs Sunday nights at 9:00 PM. So, on the schedule page, scroll down to Sunday, 9:00 PM and then on that page under the words "Mark Krueger with Planet Prog." click on "Display available archives for this show". You will get a a JavaScript alert window informing you of the station's legal disclaimer. Click OK. You will then get a pop-up window that will show *all* the shows that have been archived for Planet Prog in the 3 .mp3 quality formats. This pop-up window make take awhile to load. Be sure you're using a current web browser.

Shows are saved for many months but not forever so download them ASAP. Select your show date and your method of having it downloaded or streamed. If downloading, I would recommend "right-clicking" on the link and "Save Target As" so you can choose where your computer will save the file. If you appreciate WMSE's time, effort and expense in making this available to you, consider donating to this non-profit radio station during one of their pledge drives or any time. There are great gifts/premiums for donating that you should check out. Let them know you're a Planet Prog fan!
